Just a quick hello from the oh-so beautiful Orange County, California. I’m here spending some time with my grandparents. Bought a Bruce Jones – long board (9′6″) on Tuesday and am trying to take it out about every day. So I’m getting up early (6:00 am) to catch some good waves.

Last Saturday we went to the Project Revolution Tour Concert in San Bernadino. It was such a blast: Placebo, HIM, Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, 45.000 people. Something like this And that was way up in front. I should have gone for the more expensive tickets and end up in the moshpit! What an awesome day that was (hot as hell during the day as well tough).

as probably all of our readers will have noticed. Sorry that we did not write to you sooner and sorry that there are still no pictures online but its been a stressy time back in good old austria and at university.

I have to say thank you to Philipp and his grandparents for standing my snorring for almost three weeks. Hope to trip with you again my friend!

oh dear this night phil decided to fall out of his bed … puh, I woke up shocked when I heard him fall.

now I’m very tired! A few moments ago I created a dyndns.org account for phil’s granddad and forgot the password within 2 seconds.

we’d better not hit the road today!

… from s.f. to l.a. huntington beach, we had a nice trip and are very tired now.

… you know … I think Phil hates me now, I guided him straight trough San Francisco downtown during rush-hour OMG was that beautyful, funny and probably very very stressful for Phil, but you know he’s qualified enough to start as a cab driver over here.

So our plans: tomorrow we have tight schedules; theres Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, Treasure Island and lots of interesting stuff around here.

I hope we find our car again on friday, we put it in some residential area and went back into Downtown to Ellis crossing Franklin. This was kinda fun trip for first impressions, theres really lots of those up and down roads you know from the movies and very many skateboarders round.

We savely arrived at Cambria today. You can’t imagine how small this town is. Still the hostel (Bridge Inn Hostel in Cambria) is really nice and the owners are easy. We just had some good Burgers at a small Burger place + a Corona to that. Really relaxing. Also we have a good bottle of red wine we’re close to open.

today we were in San Diego, and we enjoyed it very much. man we made some miles on our feet there!

when we were blogging at munich airport suddenly our internet station crashed when we clicked on the link in werwurms post at wist forums.

I’m fine with sleep, but matthias seems very jet-lagged.. he got up at 0400 in the morning, solved some sudokus and when he got back to bed he started sawing a log Xp. Well, have to live with it … We started planning our trip up to S.F., looking at rental cars, hostels etc.

As usual 1/2 EBG13 is more than just on time… (in reality, JIT doesn’t work you know)… So we’re here 3 hours early, already checked-in our luggage…. Of course, all we’ve got left to do is blog while paying 5 € / hour for internet access (on a slappy windows machine with IE 5.5 or so whatever)… anyhow.. just wanted to tell.. we’re off off and awaayyyyy

as our friends will already know 50% (phil and matthias) of the ebg13 team will travel to california in april 2006. luckily that phils grandparents are living in los angeles.

and for making everybody even more jealous, we will try to document our journey with photos and comments in this blog. currently we have still not fixed our exact “sightseeing”-concept but we will keep you informed about that.
